Global Health Students Beyond Borders strives to enhance the education of graduate students preparing to benefit the public health community nationally, and globally through networking, researching, and community collaborations.

Our purpose is to bring together outstanding men and women dedicated to reducing global health concerns. We create an environment to bring together members of the faculty, alumni, and student members of George Mason University on the basis of mutual interest, understanding and helpfulness. We strive to help create an atmosphere where ideas and health care issues can be discussed openly among organization members. Goals:
GHSBB serves to inform the student body about events, actions, and ideas that impact the global health community. The organization facilitates meetings and fundraisers to benefit individual and community projects. Opportunity to receive research funding and scholarships for health related research studies. Provide relevant experience and ideas regarding practicum and internship locations. Allow students to interact with fellow peers, faculty, and alumni
